OrangeG had begun writing and performing at open mics in the Pittsburgh area before all of our worlds changed in 2020. During the pandemic, he was encouraged to release his music into world. In just a short, life-changing blink of an eye, his love of performance and sharing the messages of his music was born. Under the OrangeG moniker, he quickly built a substantial internet following. In addition to releasing his own tracks, OG has collaborated with artists across the globe (US, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, UK, France, Canada). OrangeG's debut album ("The Void Bereft") was released in October 2022, and a split EP ("I'll Take The River") with The Roundlakes (John Michie and Chris James Willows - both artists in the UK) came out in September 2022.

OrangeG is an experimental folk multi-instrumentalist based in Pittsburgh. His music was described as #WonkyCountry by the illustrious Moby Tanner. Songs from OrangeG are often introspective focusing on social and mental challenges of living on this planet with all of its imperfections. Despite performing solo, or as a duo, OrangeG has perfected the art of projecting energy and emotion in his live shows. As of his summer tour in 2023, his sets have included an atmospheric sound collage that places his songs into specific moments and moods. Multi-tasking is his speciality, often playing multiple instruments simultaneously (stringed instruments, harmonica, percussion). The heart of OrangeG's music though is the lyrics, which are delivered with emotional clarity.
